قامت الجهات المختصة في الحكومة السورية المؤقتة فور إبلاغها بمقتل السيدة هبة حاج عارف في مدينة بزاعة بالانتقال إلى مكان الجريمة ومباشرة الإجراءات الأولية للتحقيق والكشـــف الطبـــي علـــى جثـــة المغـــدورة.
ونتيجــــة التحقيقــــات الأوليــــة تــــم توقيــــف شــــخصين مشــــتبه بهمــــا ومــــا زالـــت التحقيقـــات جاريـــة.
تؤكد الحكومة السورية المؤقتة بأنها عازمة على كشف الحقيقة وملابسات هذه الجريمة النكراء المدانة وإحالة الجناة إلى القضاء المختص فور ثبوت إدانتهم لينالوا عقابهم المنصوص عنه بالقانون، وأنها ستحاسب كل من تُسول له نفسه العبث بحياة الآخرين، وأنهـــا ســـتطلع الـــرأي العام بنتائـــج التحقيـــق حـــال انتهائـــه.
Statement On the Murder of Ms. Heba Hajj Aref
As soon as the Syrian Interim Government notified of the murder of Ms. Heba Hajj Aref in the city of Bza'a, the competent authorities in the Syrian Interim Government immediately proceeded to the crime scene to start the preliminary investigation and medical examination of the victim's body
As a result of the initial investigations, two suspects have been arrested, and the investigations are still ongoing
The Syrian Interim Government confirms its determination to uncover the truth and circumstances of this abhorrent condemned crime and to refer the perpetrators to the competent judiciary as soon as their guilt is established, so they may receive their punishment as prescribed by law. It also declares its commitment to hold accountable anyone who dares to tamper with the lives of others, and it will update the public on the results of the investigation once it is concluded
